Fortunate

During the moment of silence we are offered every school day, I thank God for his many blessings that he bestows on my family. We are all very blessed, but my children are particularly fortunate. Perhaps it is because they are strong young people and they have postured themselves to be successful in their endeavors. Perhaps it is because they are prayerful themselves. Perhaps it is because of intercessory prayers of many of our friends and relatives. It doesn’t really matter from where their blessings originate, the fact is that God does bless them in so many ways.

Out of the blue, J. P. got a raise last month. Brit and J. P. are in the “study” which pays for many of the expenses associated with in vitro and, hopefully, that, too, will be successful in the near future. B. C. was notified last week that he got another scholarship which is enough to pay for the rest of his TAMU expenses.

Those are just the blessings of the past month or so. Just imagine what lies in store for them.

"A friend loveth at all times." Proverbs 17:17
