We have a friend who refers to his recliner as his "command module". For him, it really is. He has his comfy recliner turned toward the TV. To his right, he has a side table where he places the remote control to the TV/satellite, the house phone, his cell phone, his spit cup, and his iced tea glass. Beside the table lamp are his stacks of "man magazines". Over the back of his recliner, he has a "man throw" to cover up with lest he get a chill. So, in essence, he has all that he needs at his fingertips.

My little grandbabies have "command modules" all their own. They have their comfy Boppy pillows on a soft pallet turned toward the TV. To their right, they have their Roo rags (burp cloths), their Bippies (pacifiers), and their blankies to cover up with lest they get a chill. Nearby, there are diapers, wipes, and bottles. In essence, they have all that they need at their Mom and Dad's fingertips.
Ahhh...such is the life!
